i've been wanting top surgery for a while now and the only thing holding me back is the fact that i'd have no help in those first few weeks. for context, i have two kids and i'm a full-time single parent. they're both quite young - 3 and 5. i thought i'd be able to hold off a few years, but chest dysphoria has been so bad lately. it's like no matter what i do, i just can't get flat enough? i tape, and i'm not ridiculously big to begin with, but y'know.

has anyone else in a similar situation gone through with top surgery? and how difficult was the healing process?
