Whats it worth? Should I buy?

What is this machine worth? And does anyone have any experience with them? I know mileage is high but he has it listed for $5700 and it has the kohler diesel so id imagine it has longer life. I believe it is a 2016.

9800 miles
1800 hours

I am thinking about buying one of the following side by side's and I am wanting some opinions on which is the better buy/better machine. This would be used for working land and trail riding.

2016 Can Am Defender H8XT $6,800: 800 miles, 400 hours, metal roof, tires and wheels from brand new HD11, full steel bumpers, front and rear winch, speakers, aftermarket lighting, full elk suspension, fuel gauge doesn't work (think its the float), no power steering from factory, steering is loose, and feels like it will need brakes, plastics are in decent shape all around.

2015 Polaris Ranger 900 XP $8,000: 4,400 miles (not sure of hours), new rear tires (fronts are low), brakes are good, power steering, windshield, street legal kit, battery disconnect, speakers, plastics are alright, tear in seat.

Any advice is appreciated, just want to make sure I buy the right rig!

My fiance and I have been considering buying a polaris ranger side by side. It would be my name on the loan but we would split the monthly payment, and yes should I have to make the payments on my own I can afford them.

We currently have around 8k for a deposit on it and would finance around 5-8k depending on the one we choose. We both have an emergency fund to cover a minimum of 6 months expenses per person. The only debt I have is my truck payment and she has a car payment and student loans (student loans are interest free). I have a 760 credit score and she has a 740.

This would be used for my deer lease as well as trail riding when it isnt hunting season. We have no intention of taking out any other loans for minimum 2 years which this would be paid off by then.

Is this a horrible decision for us to make? I just want to hear from other people who may have experienced this before.

We are both 23 years old, and both contribute to 401k and roth ira.

I am looking to buy a ranger 1000 here in the next couple weeks. Ive been shopping around online and noticed there is a ranger 1000 which seems like the base and the ranger 1000 premium.

From doing some googling what I can tell the only differences are cosmetic, wheels, tires, lights, winch and a roof. Is there something im missing that justifies the drastic price increases i am seeing??
