"well within within my budget" at a property inspection

I was at a property inspection recently for a place I am interested in buying and an older man was chatting to the agent and as he was leaving he quite loudly says to the agent "keep me updated, this property is WELL WITHIN my budget".

As someone trying to buy and wishing they could read people's minds and know the situation everyone attending the inspections are in, do you think this is some kind of play? an agent plant? or just a very confident older man who doesn't really care who around him hears? I feel like people at inspections are usually very coy and quiet about what they say while they're there.

Also, given this, is buying a place purely based on price or can you create a good relationship with the agent who will help put your best foot forward with the seller if you also have an offer they are happy with?

SSRI’s causing low libido and unsure what to do now

My partner(M30) and myself (F30) are in a loving relationship but throughout the course of it, we’ve had to have chats about me not initiating.

I started Lexapro about a year ago and of course it completely lowered my libido. We have spoken about this and my partner understands but paired with my issue of already struggling to initiate and now having no libido, it is causing a couple of issues.

My partner is incredibly understanding and we have tried to work around what works for me and him but he is beginning to feel unwanted. It’s not becasue of sex but more I don’t initiate anything or even flirt I think. I love him but sometimes I just don’t do it and it’s beginning to affect him.

The low libido thing is also getting frustrating but I just am wondering whether I try go off lexapro for a bit and see. It’s for anxiety which I feel is manageable at the moment and we don’t have Wellbutrin here. I want to have great relationship with intimacy but also don’t want my anxiety to get in the way so I’m feeling very conflicted.

With a partner who is so understanding and loving, I’m unsure where to go from here

Baby names like Summer?

I know this has been asked before but can’t quite find what I want!

I’m like for names that don’t necessarily give off vibes like the season or sound similar, more like names that feel like they could be interchangeable with the name Summer.

That might not make sense but to me the name Summer is a bit girly but not princess-y, maybe a bit coastal/LA. Honestly, I’m not really sure if this makes sense but just trying to see if people have other names they can think of!

Thoughts on the upfront cost of a buyers agent vs what they can save overtime?

I have one particular question about buyers agents for those who have used one or looked into one and then maybe didn’t go ahead.

For anyone who has used a buyers agent, did you feel like the upfront out of pocket money was worth it?

Looking to buy a property and am interested in the extra stock buyers agents can offer - that’s the main value I see, but the fee for an agent is a lot on top of the deposit. It’s not like we have heaps of money lying around so I’m trying to calculate whether I need this money now or whether money a buyers agent saves on the long run is better.

Basically, is it better to have that money now or save that money over time? Factoring in maybe having children in a few years or wanting to do a bathroom reno or something.
