How hard is it to maintain an 80's LeSabre?
To preface, I do not own a car yet and I'm wondering if a vintage fifth, maybe fourth generation LeSabre with 120-200k miles on it is a BAD first car (especially since I don't have a ton of experience with cars)
I've heard the LeSabre is easy/cheap to maintain, and fairly reliable, so I had three questions.
- Is it actually easy to maintain? I'm not completely ignorant about cars, but I also don't have a ton of experience. Could I figure it out with YouTube?
- How cheap is it to maintain? Part of the reason I'd like to get this car is because it's very cheap used. If I have to spend a couple thousand a year to maintain it, it isn't really worth it.
- Is it actually reliable, or reliable for a vintage car?
