Maples all recovering from caterpillar butterfly season.
It’s ok to defoliate. 👍
I removed all of the bad leaves and were only left with a few keepers on every one.
From my understanding, the tree does not know the bad leaves are a lost cause so if you keep it the tree will continue to try to supply it.
So I removed all the bad leaves and this is the result.
I fertilize about every 2 weeks

Taylor shims
I need them and I do not want to take my guitar to anyone else or leave it anywhere. I may just sand mine down at work I’ve been doing cabinetry work for many years and to be locked out of being able to purchase shims when they’re selling ebony bridge pins to anyone that needs them that crack and split causing the string to pull between the groove. I am the only owner but I do not agree with this business model.
I had to superglue my bridge pin tonight and decided to shim my neck since Taylor can’t do it right but they trust some dude at the store to.
Make it make sense

Anybody use light daddario on their dreadnaut?
I tried it for the first time today and I love it. Neck needs a reset thought I’d experiment with light strings and less tension haven’t had to adjust anything bc no buzzing anywhere it sounds beautiful!

Update on my local park. [44YO]
They patched the skate lite. Concrete still rough. I pumped hard on this 6 ft wedge rolling in with too much confidence and wiped.🤣👍 I’ve rolled in on this hundreds of times never fell like this, I forgot the rough concrete causes less surface contact with the wheels (dragons) and causes the board to lose traction. Felt like I needed it.
