I believe you can get farther without paying
I had a mystical experience a year and some change ago. I know most people would give you very specific details about the most important day in their lives but I don't care.
In fact, the experience confirmed to me that these things don't truly matter, as the universe is immaterial and unimportant in comparison to the grandness of the light we're all eventually going to be in eventually.
Anyway, that's not what I'm talking about today: Referring to others in your spiritual journey.
We all do it because we confirm our knowledge through them, so we will be listening to a lecture, a guided meditation, an essay on a certain spiritual, occult, or religious topic, or other such content, in order to build ourselves and our knowledge up.
And you all will notice that at one point, the presenter of the information will offer some sort of paid content: A course, an object to further your practice, access to bigger and better content.
And I'm here to tell you that if and when you're the sort of person to pay attention to what's being told to you and are willing to work the information in question, you don't actually need to buy anything from another. Ever.
I'm not saying this to promote being cheap. In fact, the payment you'll make will have to be to yourself rather than the source of the information, but you have to pay regardless.
I'm simply pointing out something I've noticed and that is that the maximum expression of the information that's being offered usually appears *right before* the offer to buy something.
It's obviously a very brief and very superficial version of the idea or the practice, but that's all you really need to do the work. The work happens in the mind, so now take that idea and work it in the mind.
You will get so much more out of your spiritual practices if you're deducing, praying, or seeking within than if you're just given the answers by another.
And again, your payment is in the form of effort and there's no reason working this shouldn't yield positive results for you, so there's no reason to give your money away unless that's what you want to do.
