Facebook is now making fake profiles, apparently using data from LinkedIn?

I found a fake profile for myself, which I did NOT make. It looks like someone/something somehow pulled stuff from my LinkedIn and created the profile? Has anyone else experienced this???

Just got word that Delizioso Bakery + Kitchen is closing :/

I'm gutted! Their pastries were great, and it was such a lovely addition to the neighborhood. I wish greedy landlords would consider not putting solid establishments out of business ://

After the Red Onion left, Deliz was my favorite place to grab a quick sweet treat or lunch.

Milk & Cookies was another of my favorite hangouts. They've been gone since last June. </3

This show is a masterpiece. A moment of appreciation 🙏

I’ve been revisiting this show as a 30-something, and I’m realizing how much care, cleverness, and craft went into creating the early seasons. The storylines, the animation, the voice-actor performances, the one-liners, the subjectivity created by the different dream sequences, the cultural references and spoofs… It really holds up and is just as suitable for adults as it is for children—probably even more so.

I just rewatched “The Short, Quick Summer“ and ”The Perfect Brother,” and they’re lovely, feel-good episodes. The scene where Arthur is transported into the literature he read and where he relives the memories he created with his friends… It’s really so smart, and beautifully rendered. I love the moment where Arthur is helping Brain bring his stuff home and he sees Brain’s messy room. Arthur learns not to put others on a pedestal because they’re often presenting only the best version of themselves. Being human can be performative, and finding/sharing moments of authenticity with those we love is the most important thing in life.

“I’d rather be short and watch scary movies.“

”Yeah, Dad. Mayonnaise is wild.“

”She must use truckloads of shampoo to get that silky shine!”

Witty, quote-worthy writing.

The social commentary on bandwagon culture (Woogles) and staying true to yourself is also great.

Another favorite episode of mine is ”Clarissa is Cracked.“ The flashbacks to Thora’s childhood, the ASMR of the porcelain doll… They were really ahead of their time with those soothing sounds. That touch was so thoughtful.

The entire show is just *chef’s kiss*

Francophone Canadians, please weigh in!

I've been studying French for 22 years, and I consider myself bilingual in English and French. But I have not been able to make sense of this, and it's been on my mind for months.

First of all, pop quiz: can anyone identify the source of the following text? "J'atteins peu à peu ton cœur et je vois plaisir. Comme si comme l'enfant."

Most of this is nonsense, right? Why is it punctuated like this? I need help. Please and thank you.
