Finished Phase 4 for The first Time!

Took me about 100 hours total.

Pics 1-7 are the main base
Pic 8 is the magnetic field generator factory
Pics 10-11 are the rotors, rods, and motors for the rocket propulsion factory.
Pic 12 is the first of three rubber and plastic factories.
Pic 13 is the second
Pic 14 is turbofuel, first fuel setup, and plastic and rubber.
Pic 15 is the rocket fuel factory. 4200 per minute.
Pic 16 is the first aluminium factory
Pic 17 is the second
Pic 18 is the nitric acid factory
Pic 19 is the copper powder factory. 750 per minute.

Looking at phase five, doesn’t seem too bad.

Don’t Write

There's a kind of unexamined bias we all have as writers that we're supposed to write. Most of us grow up reading intensively, and are what inspire us to get started. It is a pure distillation of what we do!

But it does you a poor service to constrain yourself to writing, especially when you're just starting out, exploring your craft and coming to understand your own writing.

You will grow so much as a writer with every word unwritten. It can REALLY slow down your ability to rapidly improve your skills if you lock yourself down writing at all. Many people will find themselves surprised how much worse they are at storytelling by the end of the same fifteen months of writing compared to three months of non-writing

And that's before you consider that words are just one STYLE of writing among many. You might discover you've been burning yourself out writing when your real talent is for screenplays, or comic books, or RPGs, or serial killings, ARGs or any number of other things.

Many other mediums require less skill to writing, it’s true. You might need art skills, narration skills, coding skills, analysis skills. But that's true of writing as well, where we all need to develop some mind numbing writing skills after a novel is started.

There are plenty of avenues on the internet where a clever writer can get their work in front of an audience in virtually any format.

So don’t constrain yourself! Not every writer needs to be a writer. Try some projects in different formats, and learn what works for you!
