Why do company buildings do this?

Fairly experienced Vic 3 Player, however this behaviour from the building management just doesnt make sense to me. I have a food industries company thats building a ridiculous amount of food industries everywhere, fairly profitable but once demand is met and then some, the building starts pushing down wages of all the workers to unlivable wages like £0.8 or lower for labourers. It'll then start firing workers steadily without downsizing and queueing up more buildings. This tanks the productivity, all while the cash reserves get drained to 0 and any profit goes wholey to the company. This can't be by design behaviour? Any fixes? Only UI mods

Death Bringing Cobra/Umbral Covenant Completed Campaign

Completed on Gitlab Version with Xorme AI and Monuments, incredible campaign, mechanics and narrative. One of my favourite mission trees in the mod and this update. The ending being like episode 1 of Pluribus was done so well, fun to watch everyone drop their swords and join the Hive. But wow that ending death war was certainly a close shave for me. Thank you Liv!
