Upgrading from a Model Y for a growing family

My wife and I need some advice on a new family car. We have a 2-year-old son, and she is due next month with our second boy.

She's currently driving a Tesla Model Y, and we absolutely love how it drives and the whole EV experience (plus we already have a Tesla Wall Connector at home). But with baby number two on the way, we're definitely going to outgrow it. We just need more space overall, especially in the cargo area.

We're specifically looking for something with a functional 3rd row. Because we'll have two car seats permanently strapped in, we really want 2nd-row captain's chairs so we can still actually get back to the 3rd row when we need to.

Ideally, we want to stick with an EV, but we're open to hybrids or PHEVs if they fit the bill. Our ceiling is around $70k, though we could stretch a little for the perfect setup.

I know the Kia EV9 is the obvious answer here and always comes up as the top recommendation, but if I'm being honest, neither of us is super excited about the idea of driving a Kia.

I personally love the Rivian R1S and would jump at one, but a new one is out of our budget. Is it worth looking into used Rivians right now? What else should we be looking at? Any specific models or trims you think we'd like?

Thanks!

Covering doorbell

Installed a ring doorbell (battery), and want to remove old doorbell/cover the opening. Anything I need to do to cap / terminate the wires before covering to be safe?
