So let’s just say I’m working on the clearance process and it is not going smooth 😭😭 I’m going for vacation on Friday and I’ve had THREE of my fingerprinting appointments canceled and I’m very scared that I’m not gonna be able to get this done in time…

Additionally, I’m working on the mental health form, and I don’t know how to talk about my previous mental health in a way that doesn’t get me disqualified. I was on antidepressants when I was 18 (nothing serious, just situational stuff) and I’ve been in counseling over the last year, but I don’t really know how to explain that I have been off the antidepressants and doing well for over 2 years and that the counseling is more so for life advice kinda stuff.

Guys!!! I originally interviewed for Ecuador, Jan 2027, and did not get invited to that, I thought it would be a while before hearing back about serving elsewhere, except I just got invited to serve as a Food Security Extension Officer in Guatemala, leaving in March! I’m so excited, but I’m not seeing a lot of information on what this looks like as a volunteer, does anyone have any experience they wanna share?

I’ve seen here and there people talk about furnishing and stuff, that you do eventually get enough $$ to furnish wherever you live if you’re living solo or then moved on to your own room with a host, and I’m wondering how that works. I have small things I can bring to give myself more of a homey feel, but is it worth bothering bringing small things here and there like small kitchen tools?

Hi guys!! I was looking at the ACL lineup and i was kinda shocked that The XX was headlining because Jamie’s opening for Harry Styles, but I saw that there’s Harry shows on 10/2 and 10/3 and 10/9 and 10/10, so does this mean that they’ll be headlining on the Sundays of the festival? I know they’ll announce day by day lineup soon but I am kind of impatient and getting myself excited so ☺️
