We’re now in peak hype phase, today is going to be a lot of “this store had 50 units” “this store didn’t have this colour etc” all part of a launch strategy to promote illusion of scarcity and the scalpers also want to push that narrative to maximise flip profit.

Take deep breath, this is a multi month release and don’t kid yourselves the customer has all the power. AP & Swatch will want to shift a ton of these units so everyone who actually wants to own one is 100% going to get one in any colour they want.

Today is for the scalpers to justify sleep deprivation in hopes of a quick flip for few ££££ they’ll get bored soon.
