Anyone have the Cybex Balios?

We have this pram and I see that it has a lie flat function. Has anyone moved their baby from the bassinet attachment to the lie flat pram attachment quite early?

Baby boy is 10.5 weeks but BIG (90+ percentile) and he’s looking rather maxed out in his pram bassinet. He keeps waking himself up by kicking the bottom of it. The Balios pram has a lie flat function and is supposedly safe from newborns but I don’t know anyone else that’s changed over this early!

Is this bottle refusal?

Hi everyone!

10 week old is EBF. He has had a couple of pumped bottles (introduced at 5 weeks) which he has taken absolutely fine.

We then went a couple of weeks without giving a bottle (oops) and it seems he’s not so keen anymore. HOWEVER, he will drink some milk from the bottle. Just now I decided to pump only 1.5oz (didn’t want to pump a full feed if the milk would just be wasted). He did take pretty much all of it but more than anything he just seemed to play with the bottle. He’d suck on it a bit, then push it around with his tongue and then stop for a while and go back. He never really seemed to be latched on or fully sucking for a long time. I don’t give bottles so I have no experience on if this is normal behaviour or if he should ‘latch’ on to the bottle like he does the boob?

I’m worried he’s just getting a lot of air when doing this. I think the fact that he took the milk shows he would drink from a bottle if needed / in a pinch but if we keep working on this will the sucking get better?

Thank you.

I’m currently struck down with a bad cold / flu (?). Aching all over and so run down.

Baby (8 weeks) seems okay (maybe a little run down before I was but seems fine now). However, I am really really struggling with looking after him. Thankfully it’s a bank holiday so today my husband has taken on as much as possible but he’s having to watch me every time I feed as I’m so exhausted and drowsy I’m almost falling asleep. When I’m not feeding I’m drifting in and out of sleep.

He’s feeding a lot because he’s 8 weeks and still in that cluster feeding stage. I think I’m going to have to wake my husband for every feed in the night though fear of drifting off. I can’t / won’t Co- sleep so this is not an option (please don’t recommend).

Any tips for tomorrow when husband is back at work? I don’t know how mums do this, you’re amazing. I’m knackered.

Hi Everyone!

Little one is 7.5 weeks old. So far it’s going okay (cluster feeding is rough but that’s normal!)

At the beginning I did struggle with quite bad nausea when feeding sometimes but that had passed.

However, for the last few days/ week I’ve been hit with horrendous nausea while feeding around 4/5pm. On some days this has been so bad I’ve genuinely been on the edge of being sick. It usually passes an hour or so later but it is specifically this time every day and specifically during a feeding session.

I do notice my supply dips a bit in the evenings (normal for this pp timeframe I understand). Has anyone else had this nausea and knows why? Is it linked to the supply dip?

I feel like I’m eating and drinking enough but little one is a big baby (93rd percentile at birth) so maybe with all the carrying around I need to eat even more?

Thanks in advance!
