How many Etsy sellers here tried and closed shop in a year?
So how many people here tried to sell on Etsy and closed? Those selling cookie cutters, etc.

I saw some new features on Printie.com where you now have third party items included. Do users buy them and send them to you or do you have your own library like light pucks, phone chargers, led candles, magnets like Slant3D.
Does Printie have insert cards where you can put thank you notes to customers?
I see that shipping is still not real time and sellers have no idea how much it would cost before ordering. Slant3D has real time shipping calculation so I hope you can add it.
The estimated cost of printing an item includes the fulfillment fee and order fee?

This ain't no fad. Multi color printing is it.
In cases where the item is damaged and the customer asks for a refund, who shoulders the costs? I know Slant3D covers the printing cost but not the shipping fees because shippo would just reject refunds after the item is delivered.
How about Printie, 3Dapidigital? What is covered by the refund?
I have an international order that will cost +30 for shipping from the US to the EU and if the item gets damaged on the way, I know the refund for the print is covered but the shipping I have no idea so I rarely do international orders.
I just cancelled an order that had paid shipping and off-site ad fees and those were not repaid to me by Etsy. Vat related to shipping fees and off-site ads also not repaid. So around 12 bucks after I cancelled a customers order.
So I guess not all fees are refunded back to the seller and buyer. Anyone have different experience?

Not many know this I guess
Any plans to have multi tool printers in your farm? I plan to buy a snapmaker soon so just wondering.
On another note, could the cost breakdown be simplified? I look at the order fee and fulfilment fee. What's the difference and what are they exactly? Order fee seems like a flat fee and fulfillment fee has a price range that is not clear how it was calculated. There's also a plate fee which I guess is the number of plates in a 3mf file. What would be the difference between a 3mf with multiple plates than a 3mf that was split into each individual plate? Material fee is a given and easy to understand. Shipping seems to be using USPS verification now so if shipping can be calculated in real time that would be so helpful.
At Slant3D the cost breakdown is very simple. Printing cost, shipping cost, additional quantity = Total. That's pretty much it.
Both shops have IP violations but that's for another day. So it seems a shop can have or not have a niche.
51k sales shop with no niche
