I once posted that I would have enjoyed the show more without the Roland character. After my third watch and lots of Reddit input, I realized I was wrong. Johnny’s response to his rich friends at the coupon restaurant dinner shows how instrumental Roland was to the growth of Johnny and the whole Rose family. Mea Culpa!
