Also please leave any tips for my road test, anything is greatly appreciated!

Travel Advice SK 5-6 days

Hey all,

visiting SK soon for 5-6ish days late july, do you guys have any recommendations?

Solo trip as a minor (17) and anything will honestly be useful like where to visit (city wise), specific locations, good food places. I want to try some authentic korean food, but ive visited a lot of countries throughout Asia so kind of want to see some Korean landmarks and other stuff. Will be landing in ICN, currently thinking of spending some time in Seoul and Busan and maybe visting the DMZ?

Any insight would be great, thank you!

Reporting RESP on SABC

Hey all,

Im applying for a loan via SABC and wondering where I report my RESP income since it doesn't seem to appear on the application form. And if I do report the income, do I report the total amount of money inside of the RESP or how much I plan to take out?

On the "Other financial support and targeted resources" section, there are lines for:

  • Merit-based scholarships/bursaries
  • Government funding (EI, social assistance)
  • Non-government (private sector) funding
  • Voluntary contributions from parents/step-parents/guardians

Thank you for any help/insight!

South Korean Visa Entry Question

Hi all,

I had a question regarding a visa. Does my friend, who has a Chinese passport but a Canadian PR, go into South Korea visa-free? I saw a rule that you can transit through the country visa-free if you have a third country that is different from the one you came from. I just wanted to confirm to be safe rather than sorry since I'm not sure if we would be considered "transiting". Our itinerary will be Canada -> China -> South Korea -> Malaysia -> Canada. Any help/sources would be greatly appreciated!
