I heard atleast 15 people having off campus interveiw from my college. On campus is still left.
How many they gonna take??

People has recieved mail from trexquant for the login details for their alpha generation competition.

Can't they just allow anyone in the competition?

My friend with lesser cg and lower department got shortlisted for the competition but I am from the circuital branch (not instru) and didn't get shortlisted for the competition.

Or can't their infrastructure handle 1000-2000 people?

Since morning, it can't preview cv without removing bold text.

The moment I add bold again, it stops previewing.

Also no option for font type and spacing.

When it will get fix? Bcoz its wasting our precious time.

it feels like CDC portal is slightly changed compared to last year.
Also, I can't find the option to change font size. It's not given anywhere except at one place but there is no "Update" button given...Help

I will have my intern season at my college in this july-august. So, up until now, I have made the following projects:

1. A RAG/MERN git repository analyzer which analyze repo and you can chat with him
2. Chess engine in c++ - i think its quite strong, it is able to beat lichess 1700-1800 elo rated bot. i used lichess api key to test it.
3. Terminal based Resource monitor in c++ - basically its a simpler version of preinstalled resource monitor that comes in laptops. it shows CPU and GPU and memory stats along with graphs in terminal

I wanted to make 2 or 3 more projects which could help me in my intern and look good on cv and better than common projects and was looking for any idea. Help!

I love buiding chess engine the most bcoz it was more algorithmic than other. I made that MERN/RAG project just so that my cv is slightly sde oriented.

I'm a non-cs student. how much of cs fundamentals is really needed for intern OAs and interviews? in OOPS, OS, DBMS and Network???
