Magnemite – Minifigure Scale

Another addition to my growing minifigure-scale LEGO Pokémon collection: Magnemite!

One of the goals of this project is to recreate Pokémon using as few parts as possible while keeping them instantly recognizable and in scale with LEGO minifigures. Magnemite felt like a perfect candidate thanks to its simple but iconic design.

This build uses just 21 LEGO elements, primarily in Light Bluish Gray, and was designed to capture Magnemite's floating metallic appearance in a compact form. I also left a stud exposed on the back, allowing the model to be attached to a custom stand for display and flight poses.

Building instructions are available on Rebrickable like many other from my collection.

Gengar – Minifigure Scale

Gengar has always been one of my favorite Ghost-type Pokémon, so creating a minifigure-scale LEGO version felt like a natural addition to my growing Pokémon collection.

My goal with this series is to design Pokémon that fit naturally alongside LEGO minifigures while remaining instantly recognizable. For Gengar, I focused on capturing its iconic silhouette, mischievous grin, and compact proportions using just 66 LEGO elements, primarily in Dark Purple.

The build also includes a printable sticker sheet for Gengar's eyes and smile, helping recreate the character's distinctive expression while keeping the construction simple and accessible.

Building instructions are available on Rebrickable, with my other Pokémon MOCs.

Staryu and Starmie – Minifigure Scale

I've been continuing my minifigure-scale Pokémon series and this time I decided to tackle Staryu and Starmie.

My goal with these builds is to create Pokémon that look natural alongside LEGO minifigures while staying recognizable and faithful to their original designs. Both models are built using readily available LEGO parts and are intentionally kept compact to match the scale of the rest of the collection.

Staryu uses just 13 parts, while Starmie is built from 33 parts and features their characteristic star-shaped design. Despite their small size, I tried to capture the details and proportions that make both Pokémon instantly recognizable.

Building instructions are available on Rebrickable, and more Pokémon are already in development. I'm slowly working towards a larger collection of minifigure-scale Pokémon from the Kanto region.

Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur – Minifigure Scale

I've always wanted to create Pokémon that would look natural next to LEGO minifigures. While the official LEGO Pokémon sets are ok..., I wanted to challenge myself and build something a bit different – compact, minifigure-scale versions that stay true to the original Pokémon designs while using standard LEGO parts.

This project started with Bulbasaur and quickly grew into the entire evolution line: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur. Each model was designed with minifigure scale in mind, while also trying to capture the unique proportions and personality of each Pokémon. I also designed printable sticker allowing you to customize Bulbasaur's and Ivysaur's personality and display.

Building instructions are available on Rebrickable. Bulbasaur has already been submitted and is currently available, while Ivysaur and Venusaur are waiting for approval. More Pokémon MOCs are already on the way, so this is just the beginning of the collection!

I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Which Pokémon should join the lineup next?
