PC Upgrade for a mid-tier build

SO, here are the specs:

  • i7 12700KF
  • RTX 4060 ti 8gb
  • 32gb DDR4 2400mhz RAM
  • 750w 80+ gold PSU
  • Storage:
    • 1tb M.2 nvme SSD
    • 512gb SATA SSD
    • 4tb HDD

I've recently upgraded to a nice 1440p monitor with HDR and everything and I'm WONDERING what I should upgrade first because a LOT of my games are JUST BARELY running.

Cyberpunk holds a solid 70fps (my personal minimum target because it's when I personally feel that games become really smooth) using STEAM DECK settings at native res which looks FINE but when I TRY the Ray Tracing with DLSS Quality that I had JUST FINE before, it completely falls apart to 30-40 at PERFORMANCE DLSS. I don't like DLSS, anyways, but seeing the monitors resolution and my card, I'll accept it- I just hate the weird artifacts it creates when compared to native res (especially in Cyberpunk for whatever reason).

And BATTLEFIELD 6 is a NIGHTMARE, even BEFORE the new monitor, it STRUGGLED and NOW I get BARELY 55-70fps in the game at ALL LOW with BALANCED DLSS, EEEWWWWW-

AAANNNDDD, on top of ALL OF THAT, my browser isss... PARTICULARLY slow- NOT THE WORST IN THE WORLD... but my browser (along with other things) is CLEARLY being held back by the bad speed of the RAM.

SOOOOO, TLDR, What do I upgrade?

Everything SEEMS to work together properly buttt the games I play are BARELY holding on for dear life, ESPECIALLY with this new monitor. And the PROBLEM I'm facing NOW is that if I were to upgrade my GPU, I'd probably become CPU bottlenecked and vise versa.

SOOOOO, what do you kind people of Reddit think about all of this?

AAANNNDDD, as BONUS information, these are the upgrades I'm thinking of:

  • i9 14900K
  • GPU thoughts:
    • SELL the 4060 ti for a 9060 XT 16gb (spending a LITTLE of my own cash)
    • SAVE for a WHILE and get a 9070 (XT or non-XT, I like both)
  • Just 32gb DDR4 3600mhz

Feel free to put your own thoughts tho, ANY thoughts are appreciated :D

This might seem like a dumb question (one way or the other) but I'm worried that the Steam Controller's gonna get IMMEDIATELY botted out. I REALLY want to get one on launch day and I'm SUPER excited, I've ALWAYS wanted to be able to use my PC with a controller for all my different games and on desktop.

Being able to play games with gyro and the back buttons and radarada the POINT is that this Steam Controller is basically EXACTLY what I need to make my PC gaming experience that much better and I REALLY want one.

But, with that said, this will be my first time preordering/ordering something AT LAUNCH as SOON as it comes out and I'm really worried I'll miss my chance to get it. I know it's impossible to tell but what do y'all think about this?

I've calibrated my HDR for Windows and everything (you don't gotta remind me Windows HDR sucks) and it looks GREAT for most media and games... except for when I go into... actual HDR media & game settings.

Whenever YouTube videos boast HDR or whenever I go to switch HDR in Cyberpunk allll of the colors wash out. Any help?
