Did Renaissance painters have a verbal or symbolic way of expressing respect for deceased colleagues or their masters?
Hello everyone,
Two years ago, my teacher passed away.
So far, no one has raised a monument in his honor, and I would like to do so myself. On the monument, I would love to engrave — if such a tradition exists — a symbolic phrase or expression inspired by the way Renaissance painters paid tribute to deceased masters, colleagues, or teachers.
If possible, I would especially appreciate something connected to the Renaissance or the Baroque period, since it was through those eras that we grew so close and developed our shared love for art and for each other (He was like a father to me, and I was like a son to him).
Thank you all in advance, and I wish you a pleasant rest of the day.
OneDrive sucks
Hello everyone,
I need help with disabling and clearing everything from OneDrive on Windows without deleting my local files on my computer.
I don’t actually have OneDrive installed (at least not that I’m aware of), but it still keeps backing up and syncing my files automatically. I’m really confused about how it’s running in the background and I can’t seem to fully stop it.
I’ve tried to disable and remove OneDrive, but I might have messed things up because I’ve even lost proper access to some of my files and accidentally removed them from my PC.
Could someone please guide me on how to completely disable OneDrive and remove all cloud syncing, while keeping all my files safely on my Windows 11 computer?
I’m using Windows 11 and I’m not very experienced with these settings, so any clear step-by-step help would be greatly appreciated.
