Egyptian here, why is no one talking about Africa?

I hope this doesn't get removed by mods. I see all this talk about Europe and Asia but as a North African, I have no idea where we are in this crisis. Are we going to get screwed early on like Asia or what? Authoritarian governments like mine don't like to divulge their problems so it's frustrating that basically nothing is coming out. The government instituted oil saving measures all the way back in March by having one day of remote work and enforcing a 9 PM curfew but I've heard nothing since then and the curfew is basically enforced every summer to save gas so that's actually not abnormal.

First time playing Deadspace, thoughts on chapters 3 and 4

Here's the post I made about the first two chapters: https://www.reddit.com/r/DeadSpace/s/4dAoOrTYBy

Chapter 3:

"This game is just throwing ammo at me!"

What a fucking moron. I got soft locked with the tentacle thing near the centrifuge and I had to lower the difficulty to kill it. My inventory is full. I have a bunch of schematics and some circuits and I was tempted to drop them because I needed... literally everything.

No ammo and no med packs. I was barely hanging on. The tram isn't a loading screen so I'm anticipating a jumpsacre while riding it somewhere along the story.

I think I should elaborate on something. I know that Nicole is dead. I'm not a survival horror guy so I never thought I'd play Deadspace and I watched a lore video about it a couple years back. I regret that. I barely remember anything and I dont know the intricacies of the story but I know that... well actually I dont know what's pretending to be her.

How big was the crew of the Ishimura? There's graffiti on the tram. I know it's a small thing but that makes it feel more used i guess and that just makes me wonder how many people died here. I'm not really scared anymore to be honest. I know Issac is the protagonist but why is he doing EVERYTHING. So far Daniels is hiding somewhere and our brave leader Hammond drove us into a bunch of asteroids. Issac is a fucking engineer and he's out here killing armies of aliens while the guy who probably has combat training just barks orders.

Chapter 4:

I shat on him just a sentence ago but it was nice being with another living person. It didn't last long though. Gotta send me out there to get killed 🫡

I'm hesitant to get rid of the pulse rifle because I like the mines. The problem is I'm getting too many ammo types right now. I'll probably store the ripper.

Unitology doesn't sound like a big deal. Are there other religions in this future? Millions of people isn't that much especially if Earth's population is much higher than it's current level. 78 billion dollars in the stock market is peanuts compared to a company like Apple. This religion seems closer to Scientology than Christianity.

Finished this chapter with a lot more ammo and it was shorter in length. I guess it fluctuates. The message from Nicole is obviously fake. Like I know she's dead but it's just very obvious that the message is a trap.

Edit: I'm going to sleep but here’s a thing I'm wondering about:

Why isnt the marker affecting Isacc, Daniels and Hammond? It drove everyone else on the ship nuts. Or at least I think it did. Some of the dying crew members I came across didn't seem like they were under the Marker's control but I dont know.

First time player, thoughts on chapters 1 and 2

I'm a total bitch. I get scared pretty easily. I dont play a lot of horror games but I did finish Alan Wake 2 so I bought both this game and Cronos: The New Dawn. I'm starting with Deadspace.

I started off being fucking terrified from all the jumpscares but the terror died down pretty quicky. I felt strong with all this ammo the game is giving me. I'm not getting enough med packs though. I didn't really get what all the saving stations were for.

I think I get it now at the end of chapter 2 though. That fight after you get to the captain depleted a lot of my ammo and I wouldnt have made it without stasis. This is only chapter 2 so I imagine that it will only get worse.

I really dont know when to use the plasma cutter and when to use the pulse thingy. I know one packs more of a punch and the other one is faster but I dont know when it's best to use either one. I got stuck at a door at the medbay because I used up all the statsis and I found a reddit post about the same door and everyone was calling OP a dumbass. Screw you.

I'm thinking of replaying the game and I want to know which type of cop I should be the second time around.

I know that anything works but I want to see as much as possible without disappointing Kim.

I'M NEVER DISAPPOINTING KIM.

In my first playthrough, I levelled psyche and intellect. I finished the filthy centrist quest because I'm a filthy centrist, didn't recruit cuno (I didn't want to lose kim) and I lost the shootout.

I want to see some stuff that I missed out on in my first playthrough.

Would a playthrough with physique and motorics be significantly different? Will Kim hate me if I'm a fucking moron? (More than usual).

[KCD2] how will the third game handle all the branching paths created by the second one?

I'm looking too far ahead here because we might not get the next game until the 2030s but I think it's seems like a really daunting task for Warhorse. I think it would suck if they just canonised a single ending and romance, or if they invalidated all of them, but how else will the narrative work in the next game?

I want the romance with capon to be explored further or to get the option to actually be with Rosa. There's basically no strong reason to keep Samuel alive in kcd2 because you don't get a lot of dialogue with him after you save him and everyone is happier about having the silver. Kcd3 would be a perfect opportunity to make that choice worth it, but they can't realistically write and develop two completely different stories where the Wenceslas camp both does and doesn't keep the sliver.
