How do yall evade ic checking?

For context, i am ftm. This is just a random qn for my trans friends out there but wanna ask because sometimes i can get away with it, sometimes i cant 💀

Basically whenever i watch movies rated M18, the ushers obviously ask for ur ic so when i present it to them i usually just cover the gender marker and id be fine. However there was a time where the usher asked for my ic physically instead of me just using my thumb to cover the marker and thats when i was like Oh Shit because ive already been on T for quite awhile + cis passing so i started to panic.

Obviously i had no choice and i had to give the uncle my ic and at first it was ok but he quite literally did a double take when looking at me and my ic LOL

Idk how to feel about it bc this happened quite awhile ago and i was expecting that to happen because he was also an old uncle la but i still felt paiseh 😶‍🌫️

How do yall usually evade this? Do u guys just give up ur ic or do u guys also do the same thing as i do?

Conflicting feelings

Not sure whether to put this under medical or mental health, so ill just put the flair as mh. Before i start i just want to preface that i completely understand that i am in a very lucky/supportive environment around me and i am not trying to come off as somebody who is "flexing". My family is completely supportive of me being transgender as ive quite literally been born this way eg showing signs of being a boy literally ever since i gained consciousness lol. I used to have mental breakdowns at a very young age about being afab.

I (18 trans man) have been blessed with the opportunity of being able to undergo top surgery in the next few months. My family and i are still in talks with the hospital that i will be doing my surgery at but i feel very guilty.

I feel guilty about my parents having to pay for my surgery. My mom said it was completely okay as long as i pay them back in full when i get a stable job in the future. I feel selfish that i have to go through having GD and making my parents worry about my mental health just so that i can live in peace.

Because i am not doing my surgery in my country, it wont have any insurance and payment will be coming completely out of pocket.

Am i wrong for feeling this way when i know that there are other people who have it worse than me? Am i wrong for feeling selfish? Am i ungrateful? I love my family and the people around me that support me. But i just feel very bad that in order to make me happy, sacrifices have to be made. I guess thats where the feeling of selfishness stems from.

In an ideal world, we wouldnt have to pay just to be comfortable in our own bodies. But thats another topic i can talk about for another day. Ive just been feeling completely depressed the past few days and i feel like i need to get all of these thoughts off my chest.

Areola sizing help? (Pre op)

Hi, i am planning to have top surgery around September in Thailand. I have contacted Yanhee hospital and they have given me an evaluation where i am qualified to do semi-areolar surgery. Do i need to resize my areolas or would they look small enough once surgery is completed? Thanks!

regarding internship for ite

hey, im currently signing up for my internship at ite. there is a section asking for my gender, do i have to put my legal gender or can i just anyhow put... and if i HAVE to put my legal gender, is there any way i can clear it up with the teachers in charge for intern? my CA knows but i am stealth to the rest of my teachers/classmates/schoolmates. thank you

edit: i have been on hormones for a year+ so it might be weird if i put my legal gender 🥲

edit 2: hi! this is another update regarding this post. i talked to my CA today and she said its fine. however if the intern liaisons ask you about it, you just have to disclose it to them that you are transgender etc. but usually they dont so its ok :) hope this info helps others who need it

Im cooked due to new sg laws about transitioning. Please help me

Hey guys, 18 yr old ftm here. I started HRT on june 4th 2025 via private clinic and now, sg laws are becoming stricter regarding HRT being provided to individuals under 21 with private care. Long story short, if you are 21 and above, you can continue HRT. If you arent, you most likely have to stop. There is a condition where if you already have been on hormones, you may proceed to continue with taking HRT as per normal WITH the help of the TRP (Treatment Panel Review). I can go into the details of it but it is TOO long and irritating for me to deal with right now as im currently freaking out about what to do with my transition. I have about a month's worth of testosterone cream with me right now and im trying to think of other ways to be able to get my hands on testosterone. If there are any resources, could you guys kindly share them with me/others who may need it? Thank you :)

Edited to clarify the date
