Why would someone suddenly become distant after showing so much interest?
I (15F) met a guy on May 14 and we started talking a lot. In the beginning, he would message me frequently, sometimes 4+ messages at a time, and the conversations felt natural and enjoyable.
Recently, things have changed. He often leaves my messages on sent for 24 hours or more, rarely starts conversations, and overall feels much more distant. Because of this, I've started feeling emotionally detached too.
The confusing part is that when I ask him if something is wrong or if I did something that upset him, he says "nothing happened" and acts like everything is normal. But his behavior feels very different from before.
I'm not trying to force anyone to talk to me, but I genuinely want to understand what's going on. Did I possibly do something wrong without realizing it? Or could this just mean he's lost interest and doesn't want to say it directly?
Has anyone been in a similar situation? How would you interpret this?
