I tried to lighten a transparent rod by gathering and twisting it with clear. I twisted it to the point of devitrification, but the color rod didn’t lighten. I just saw the color twist get thinner within the clear rod.

Edit: These dotting tools look like my rods did before they clouded from devitrification. I did not keep or take pictures of the devitrified rods.

Who made it and what is it made out of? I’m hoping it’s not ai. The backwards image search just lead me to Pinterest
