Hey everyone, I’m planning to buy the Acer Nitro V 15 (2025 model) with these specs:

RTX 5060 8GB

16GB RAM

1TB SSD

15.6” FHD display

This is going to be my first Acer gaming laptop, so I wanted to hear from current Nitro users before I pull the trigger. Also, I don’t do super hardcore gaming all day, but I’ll probably use it for gaming, multitasking, AI/LLM stuff, editing, and general heavy usage.

Suggestions and opinions, would really be helpful😃.

Leicester MSc AI offer (with placement). Confused if I should just go with it or try for Cardiff/Newcastle.

Does uni name actually matter a lot for jobs or is it more about projects + experience?
