I recently enrolled in JavaScript courses and I am too overwhelmed to start

Hello,

Recently I pursued these courses that teaches you web development and JavaScript. The full curriculum is available. I am too intimidated to get started because I’m someone that’s more on the creative side not logical but because of this economy I thought I might as well learn a high paying skill. I keep putting it off because I am scared what if it takes time to complete it and I wish I can finish it in a month or less. I’m so unrealistic yes because I’m average it needs 3 months but I won’t have time once my leave from work is done and I have to get back to work

IWTL how to be more spiritual and mindful, starting today

I used to meditate and do art and eat mindfully to learn how to gain a higher consciousness. It helped me mentally and emotionally. I wish I can get back to it again. I’ve always been a beginner

Let’s build our own The Odin Project community in the little city of al Ain

Hey,

So I was wondering if creating such a community for people interested in building and self-development. We can influence freshers and empower people who genuinely want to make a change in their lives.

Even if you’re a woman who has been out of the job market for a while and want to join web development or learn JavaScript, The Odin Project provides their courses and certifications for free. I genuinely think it’s a wonderful opportunity for people who want to make a change.

What kind of renal cat dry foods do you feed your cat besides royal canin?

I guess royal canin is just overpriced for the quality. I found out that reflex has better ingredients and it’s also low in phosphorus without really mentioning that it’s good for cats with ckd but I can tell it is. It’s a Turkish brand and they have a culture of being loving towards cats!

I wonder if there’s any affordable suggestions you guys have? I found grain zero on Amazon it seems good but I want to know from your experiences. Also vets only recommend those overpriced ones and never really give tips on what to look for in cat food so I started making my own research and found out that we have to watch out for phosphorus, sodium, fake meats and sugar

Cat refusing recovery collar after castration. I need help.

Hello,

In Al Ain there aren’t that many pet shops. What are some things I can do to help my cat stop licking himself after the surgery? I can’t even sleep because he will do it as soon as I close my eyes. I’m watching him 247 because he removes the cat recovery collar every single time. Also I heard onesies aren’t suitable for male cats. If you have any good experiences please help

Any coworking space or a cozy cafe for working here? I’d appreciate your help ladies and gentlemen:(

I’m just a woman in my early 20s who wants to spend the next few weeks working in a place where it’s relaxing and you can easily focus.

I love reading, listening to music, coffee and I spend my free time working to be honest. It might be boring to some people but I guess I’ve never been cool extrovert who goes to every event or adventurous in life and you can tell from now on I plan to go regularly. I’d appreciate your help. This will be life changing for me since I plan to work in a public space rather than at home haha

Some simple things to step outside my comfort zone

Still didn’t find psychiatric help in al Ain. Anxiety attacks in public. Help

Hello,

I’m asking for help. After recent incidents I can’t cope. I don’t want to get into details. Being a woman in your 20s and the economic status of the world doesn’t help. I try to keep myself busy with wellness and studying courses I’m interested in but the anxiety attacks are way too strong for me to handle. I use music and non-fiction books to cope. I just feel so different and alone on top of what I already mentioned, but it’s like it’s not just a feeling, it’s a fact and everyone states it to me.

I have big dreams you can say and I sometimes feel so frozen and can’t do anything like simple tasks or function anymore.

The reason I’m not finding help could probably even be because I’m posting this at the wrong time. This is what I just realized and I’ll post it anyway.

I keep noticing the same mistake when businesses here try to “do AI”

I’ve spent a good chunk of the last year paying close attention to how companies in the UAE and wider GCC approach AI, and honestly the pattern is almost always the same. Someone gets excited, buys a chatbot or some generic tool, and six months later nobody on the team is even using it.
The businesses that actually get value out of this stuff do something different. They figure out where the real pain is first. Is it that leads sit unanswered for hours. Is it that bookings are still happening through screenshots on WhatsApp. Is it that new hires can’t find basic information because it only lives in one person’s head. Then they build something small and specific around that one problem instead of trying to automate everything at once.

A few things I’ve personally seen work well for businesses here.

Bilingual voice or chat agents that handle leads immediately instead of making people wait
Internal assistants trained on a company’s own documents so staff stop asking the same questions simple lead scoring that plugs into whatever CRM they already use I’d genuinely love to hear if anyone here has tried something similar and whether it actually stuck, or if it became another tool that quietly died. If anyone wants to talk through where AI might actually fit for their business, feel free to drop a comment or message me, happy to share what I’ve learned.
