Toby is a total character — a bit of a thinker who likes to sit up high and survey his kingdom before deciding whether to grace you with his presence 😄 He’s affectionate once he’s comfortable, loves a cozy perch, and settles in beautifully once he trusts you. He’s grown up in a warm, calm household and would do best with someone patient enough to let him come around in his own time — after that, he’s a total sweetheart.
He’ll come with his litter tray, bowls, and water
If you think you could give Toby his next home, please DM
Hope he will be ok soon. If anyone can support his treatment please DM me. Thank you.
There are several stray cats in Ras Al Khaimah next to a mosque that could really use some help. If anyone has been thinking about adopting a cat, or is able to foster, donate some food, or if anyone knows of a rescue organization that could check on them and get them seen by a vet.
People leave food and water for them, but it wouldn't hurt if someone could check up on them if they are in the area. It's very hot outside, they honestly need a loving home.
I added some photos of the cats ( there are young and l assume older cats of different breed, I'm not a cat expert). The location is in the last photo.
Edit: I don’t live in Ras Al Khaimah, and I’m also afraid of cats ( that’s why I couldn’t take closer pictures).
I was hoping if a professional/vet or anyone who is familiar with cats can check up on them and see if they are healthy and ok. There are dozens of cats there, if someone wants to adopt please go there.
If there is an organization that will take care of them, please share with me the details and I can reach out to them. Thank you.
Hii everyone.
I need your suggestion regarding a new rule, I’m planning to add related to adoption posts.
The rule is that, any cat you’re posting for adoption MUST be neutered (spay / castration). Or it should be made a mandatory requirement for the adopter.
If the cat is not neutered, the post should also briefly explain why (for example: too young, medical reasons, etc).
I personally get very annoyed when I see irresponsible owners who don’t neuter their cats.
What do you guys think about adding this rule?
👍 Yes – require neuter in adoption posts
👎 No – keep the rules as they are
💬 Other – comment your suggestion
Also, please feel free to dm or modmail incase you see any breeders or hate in this community.
Thankyou 🌸
Hello,
Have posted this street several times no one wants to feed them! They need wet food. The 3 month old kittens finished 3 pouches of Felix in one meal 💔💔have taken 7 cases to clinics from ppls gardens and they did not even offer to help with bills. These small kittens had the flu for 6 weeks and no one bothered! I do lot even live in this street. A Sri Lankan maid told me about it and I can’t leave them. I need help. I need others to come and feed too. The two kittens just finished their medications yesterday. Will vaccinate next week. The black and white kitten I booked him for Sunday for vaccine.
I have posted in many Mirdif pages, no one offered to help 💔💔. I used to go three times now I am going twice.

After 5 days of trying, I finally caught him!
The only way to catch a truly unfriendly cat is to leave my car door open, walk away, and then come back later. Thank God, the targeted cat always seems to be the one that goes inside!
A huge thank you to the amazing team at Petopia. Every time I bring in a feral cat, they never hesitate to help, even when it means literally wrestling with a frightened cat inside my car. One of the assistants was unfortunately injured while trying to catch him, and I’m so grateful for their dedication and patience.
The poor kitty has a very strong, foul smell coming from his mouth, so he’s now at the vet to be examined and treated. He will also be neutered while he’s there.
Please keep him in your prayers and hope his mouth can be treated.
I’m putting up my two female British short hairs for adoption.
- no charges but you will be thoroughly vetted.
- 4yrs old and 2yrs old. One has a passport
The kittens (5) are three months old and wheaned already.
Pictures attached.
Putting them up for adoption cos I’m still very much unemployed, ill and they deserve to be taken care of properly, vets and whatnot.
Put them up a few months ago and had to hold off cos we found out very late they were both pregnant and didn’t want them to be taken advantage of.
Ps: if you’re not interested, please scroll away and keep your negative, judgemental comments to yourself 🤍

Hi everyone! I’m looking for loving homes for these two adorable kittens 🐱🇦🇪
Age: 3 months old
Breed: Scottish mix with Persian
Gender: Both female
Health: Healthy, playful, and active
Litter trained: Yes
They’ve grown enough now and are ready to be adopted. We already have multiple cats at home, so we want them to go to families who can give them the love and attention they deserve ❤️
They are very sweet, affectionate, and used to being around people.
Small adoption fee, for serious adopters who can provide a safe and caring home.
📩 Please DM me if you’re genuinely interested in adopting one or both.
I'm living in dubai and working in a bank as a back end developer. My job is not a simple 9-6. Sometimes it is long, sometimes short. But I stay alone. I want to have a companion. I'm thinking of adopting a cat. On top of all these, I never had a pet. I need a suggestion on getting a cat as a pet. What are all the things I need to know before taking the big step. Please enlighten me.
Hi all
This beautiful white cat was dumped a week ago in the car park of my work place
Took me a couple of days to catch him
Had been checked by vet. He's around 1.5 years old male. Had him neutered, microchipped and vaccinated by the vet in Abu Dhabi
The cat seems to be deaf since he doesn't wake up when U call him, only when you pet him he will wake up, and he meows very loudly
Trying to find him a loving home with ppl who r more kind than his last family.
Thank you all
Meet Sally.
At around 1:00 AM, I spotted this poor cat wandering in a heartbreaking condition. It took until 5:00 AM to safely catch her. She wasn’t microchipped, and judging by her condition, she appears to have been dumped a long time ago and left to survive on her own.
Her fur was matted, patchy, dirty, and in terrible shape. She is extremely thin and dehydrated, and the outside of her mouth is black and crusted, suggesting she has been suffering for a long time.
Today is Sally’s second day at Petopia Clinic. She was groomed today, and despite everything she has been through, she has been incredibly gentle.
The vet found a mass in one of her mammary glands, but she is far too weak to undergo surgery at the moment. They also found fluid in her chest, and she needs a respiratory panel to determine the cause. Because of the severe inflammation in her mouth, she also needs FIV and FeLV testing, along with further diagnostics before the vets can decide on the safest treatment plan.
Sally has a long road ahead of her, and every test and treatment comes at a cost. If you are able to support her medical care in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world. Every donation gives her a better chance of recovery.
Her blood results explanation from chatgbt :
From the values that are readable in the image, Sally’s bloodwork shows a few notable abnormalities. I can’t diagnose her from this report alone, but here’s a general interpretation:
White blood cells (WBC): 20.03 – within the lab’s reference range but toward the higher end.
Neutrophils: 12.40 – elevated, which is consistent with inflammation or a bacterial infection, fitting with her severe mouth disease.
Globulin: 7.4 g/dL – significantly elevated. This often indicates chronic inflammation, infection, or immune system stimulation.
Total protein: 10.2 g/dL – elevated, likely because of the high globulin level and possibly dehydration.
Glucose: 159 mg/dL – mildly elevated. This is common in stressed cats and isn’t necessarily diabetes.
Amylase: 1163 U/L – elevated, but in cats this value is not very specific and usually isn’t interpreted on its own.
Kidney values (BUN and creatinine): within normal limits, which is encouraging.
Liver values (ALT, ALP, bilirubin): within normal limits.
Red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets appear to be within the reference ranges.
Overall, the bloodwork supports what the vets are already seeing: a cat with significant ongoing inflammation or infection, likely related to her mouth and possibly other underlying disease. It does not by itself tell whether the mammary mass is benign or malignant—that requires removal and biopsy once she is stable enough for surgery.
Given her condition, the next tests your vet mentioned are very appropriate:
FIV/FeLV testing.
Respiratory panel because of the chest findings.
Oral bacterial culture if indicated.
Stabilization before anesthesia and surgery.
I hope Sally responds well to treatment. She has clearly been through a lot, and it’s good that her kidney and liver values look preserved despite how unwell she appears.
Our kitten got really sick and almost didn’t make it, but thankfully the vet was able to save him. The vet thinks he probably picked up an infection or some bacteria in his eye, which caused really bad inflammation. They told us to keep using the eye drops.
The thing is, his left eye doesn’t seem to be getting better. If anything, it’s looking worse. We’re kind of lost on what to do and would really appreciate any advice.
P.S. This is our first time having an indoor cat. All our other cats are outdoor cats. The vet told us not to let him mix with the others, so we kept him inside. But lately he’s seemed so lonely, so we started letting him out to play with them.
Since then we’ve noticed his left eye keeps getting bigger and dirtier. We’re not even sure if the drops are helping anymore. Sometimes right after we put them in, his eye swells up more and it looks like it might bulge out.
We’re in a really difficult situation right now because of what is happening in the middle east and urgently need help.
We’re based in the UAE and currently caring for around 80 cats and 4 dogs, but we have basically no income since the conflict started. We’re struggling to afford food, litter, and even rent, and we’re at risk of losing our home.
If anyone in the UAE can help in any way — donations, food, litter, or even temporary fosters/adoptions — it would mean everything to us and to these animals. Even sharing this post or referring us to someone who might be able to help would make a huge difference.
Please reach out if you can help or know someone who can. Thank you so much.
Hi everyone,
I’m feeding a large colony of cats in Deira, and over time I’ve realized that TNR is just as important as feeding. I’m almost done sterilizing all the cats i feed, but people have started dumping a lot of cats.
This girl is one of them. She’s sweet and spends every day sitting quietly in the same spot. Yesterday, I took her to be spayed along with four male cats for neutering.
If anyone can help with the remaining vet bill (AED 199), I’d be grateful. I can share the vet clinic’s account details so donations can be made directly.
She also deserves a safe, loving home. If you can foster her until she’s adopted or give her a forever home, please send me a DM.
Thank you.
About me: I’m a 25yr old solo developer living in the UAE. I created this app to help solve a common problem in my household. One of us often forgets to feed our pet, or we might give too many treats because we’re unsure if someone else has already taken care of it.
I designed a simple QR based pet tracking app that allows you to add your family or friends and keep everyone on the same page. It also generates QR’s for your pets with public profiles so you can attach it to a collar or something.
It’s just a web app for now, so everyone can try it out, and it’s quicker to update. However, you can still “install” or add it to your Home Screen for a more convenient experience.
Check it out here: Poggle
It’s still a work in progress and I hope to make it better with your feedback 🤞
Thanks to the mods for letting me share this here ❤️
A few weeks ago, I posted asking for help for an injured stray cat.
https://www.reddit.com/r/CatsOfUAE/s/E3dn0gfNzm
Unfortunately, no one was able to help, and I couldn’t leave him suffering any longer.
Last Saturday, I took him to a veterinary clinic and covered the treatment costs myself. He is recovering well and is scheduled to be discharged this Saturday.
His medical bill has now exceeded 1,400 AED, and I have receipts and clinic records available for verification.
I’m looking for help with two things:
• Any financial contribution toward his treatment costs would be greatly appreciated, as the credit card payment is due before the 17th.
• A permanent home, foster, or shelter. I cannot keep him long-term, and I don’t want to release him back onto the streets once he recovers.
If you can help in any way, or know someone who can, please send me a message.
Photos, medical records, and receipts are available upon request.
Thank you.
