Changed the trans fluid on my 150k mile c5 and now it started slipping

I just got this automatic corvette with a 4l60e a month ago and decided to do basic maintenance on the car so I changed the trans fluid, put a new gasket and filter in. The fluid had been changed before as it had an aftermarket filter on it. I filled the car up to the correct level and now driving it, it slips in 3 gear whether it’s trying to down shift or up shift into 3rd gear at high rpm. Anything I can do to save this transmission or is it over?

Picked up this 1998 with 149k miles for $3500

Does have some issues tho…

- Shifter cable broke on the way home and I’m stuck in gear
- bottom radiator mounts are broken along with air funnels missing. The car was running at like 220-228F which seems high imo but some people say that’s normal?
- Climate controls don’t turn on
- Needs new tires
- Electric seats don’t work
- couple more electric issues (this is the exact reason older cars are easier to work on)

Engine runs great, and it shifted great before i broke the cable I feel like I got a steal on an American icon. Maybe to much power for my 19 year old brain tho
