Testing a free self-serve ASO audit tool

Hey everyone, I’m working on a self-serve ASO audit tool and I’m looking for feedback from people who actually deal with App Store / Google Play optimization.

You just paste your app URL and it gives you a free audit with notes on keywords, screenshots, positioning, conversion issues, and possible quick wins.

I’m mostly trying to understand if the feedback is useful and what’s missing.

Here it is if anyone wants to try it:

Would really appreciate honest feedback, especially from people who have worked on ASO before.

Anyone here thinking about selling an app they built?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to buy a small iOS or Android app from an indie dev who maybe built something useful, but doesn’t have the time or energy to keep working on it.

I’m open to different types of apps - utilities, productivity, education, lifestyle, kids apps, simple games, etc.

Main things I care about:

  • real users, reviews, and some revenue
  • clean code / ownership
  • app can be transferred properly
  • no copyright or IP issues
  • app is at least 1-2 years old

I’m flexible on budget depending on the app and the numbers.

I’m not looking for fresh AI wrappers, cloned templates, fake downloads, or apps with unverifiable numbers.

If you have something like this, feel free to DM me with the app link and a bit of background on why you’re thinking about selling.

Question for people with apps: how much does ASO actually matter?

I’ve been going down the ASO rabbit hole recently because I’m working on something related to app growth.

One thing I keep noticing is that a lot of apps seem to put way more effort into building the product than into the actual App Store / Google Play page. Which makes sense, obviously, but it also feels like a missed opportunity.

Sometimes the screenshots don’t explain the app quickly, or the title is too broad, or the description sounds like it was written once and never touched again.

For people who have launched apps: did improving the store listing actually make a difference for you?

I’m curious what mattered most:

screenshots, keywords, reviews, app name, pricing, localization, or something else?

Would love to hear real experiences, especially from indie devs or small teams.
