Graduate’s degrees and AFROTC

I am going into a college without a AFROTC detachment or any crosstown host programs, this is mostly because my parents wanted me instate and the in state school with AFROTC doesn’t have my major. I got approval from parents to transfer out after my freshman year to school with both major and AFROTC. Problem is, I took as shit ton of APs in high school and now I could get my degree at the first school within a year and a half. I’m thinking it might be better to stick it out, get the degree, and go for a graduate’s at the second school. I was planning on going for a graduate’s anyways, but I’ve heard mixed reviews on doing a graduate’s degree while in AFROTC. Is it a bad idea to do both a graduates and AFROTC at the same time? Would it be better to just go for another undergraduates in a complementary subject to my first one than go for a higher degree later on?

Planning ahead

I just graduated from high school and going for a degree in atmospheric science with a minor in environmental science or geography in the fall. I’m looking into possible career paths, I know that I’m someone that needs purpose behind my work and I feel that going into the typical behind the scenes prediction job won’t do me well. I find the Air Force to be a great option because it provides both purpose and the means to serve my country.

The college I’m attending doesn’t offer AFROTC, so I’m likely in for the long-haul with OTS. I’m going to be spending around 3 years at college before graduating due to APs and Dual Enrollment. I have no plans for extracurriculars aside from volleyball, either in recreational leagues or on the school’s club team.

I want to build my stats as much as possible over the next three years before I start the application process, but I’m really not sure what to do. I know that they like leadership experience and a good GPA, but what else?
