I’m a freshman biology major at ksu and i don’t get what this class is? Is it like a freshman seminar class or something?

At ksu do you need to take algebra before precalc?? and is there some sort of replacement test you can do to take pre calc straight up?

I was also wondering which dorms are better, since I’m thinking of KSU Marietta campus
