Heavily modified 10th gen 11th gen owners please explain 🙏

Why buy an SI and heavily modify it when you can buy a type r if your planning on dumping the money into it why even waste the time ??? Don’t get wrong I had the 10th gen si bought it cpo in 2019 I thought it was a great car I did little bolt ons lowered it wheels but in the back of my head I always said I never wanted to go to far because then I should of just bought a type r. I see so and so many 11th gen’s extremely modify I wonder with the money you dumped into it why not just go with the type R. Just a question wanna hear someone’s reasoning from the other side not here to be hostile I Iove the SI.

Couldn’t not buy mods lol

Pulled the plug bought my first couple mods with just 115 miles on my FL5. Going to try this drop in filter heard good things about it. Didn’t get an intake yet…..but been eyeing down the titanium inlet piping from PRL next. Looks so good.

What’s up friends. I’m 23 from PA and honestly just looking to meet some new people to talk to. Most of my time is spent working since I’m a truck driver, so it gets kinda repetitive and I figured I’d try putting myself out there more.

I’m into car builds, working on projects, music, memes, gym occasionally, business ideas, and random deep conversations. I also speak Spanish.

I’m pretty laid back and can talk about almost anything. Doesn’t matter if you’re local or not. Just looking for genuine people and good conversations.

Feel free to message me.

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all spent the weekend well. Just put my first 115 miles on this car been absolutely loving it. I want to see what your guys first mods on your FL5 was I just can’t see where this car needs improvement I actually do like the exhaust I like my car quiet (but I also do love loud turbo noises) was thinking of doing an intake I like the power and the suspension feels great I can’t really find any short comings in my personal opinion to justify doing mods to it I love it in stock form. Let me know what was your guys first mods?

I’m currently sitting at 38 miles. I haven’t really beat on it that was more or less just the drive home from dealer. What I’m trying to understand is where everyone is getting this 600 mile break in period from specific what page in the book is it on because I can’t find it. I hear so many weird ideas of people saying drive different rpm or keep it under so and so rpm but where the hell are you guys getting this from lol. Also about the oil change some people are changing it right after break in some people are saying they’re waiting till 5k. If you have any thoughts or opinions please share and actually provide credibility to whatever you’re saying don’t just tell me your uncle John said so or you heard Honda say it. Where did they say it lol. Im not against the break in I just want to know the truth with what was actually said.
