Saw this a while ago and didn’t really pay any mind to it, but I went back to check if it had sold and it’s still there (but for $35k you would be utterly insane to buy it).

How is this in the US? It’s definitely not old enough to be import legal over there.

Thrilled to finally complete the exterior look I originally pictured when I bought my FL5, just shy of the 1-year mark now. Over the past week we added:

AlphaRex AlphaBlack Headlights

Seibon Carbon Front Lip

Custom engraved and powder coated calipers

Paragon front rotors + 350mm upsized rear rotors

Brembo NAO ceramic pads + Wunderladen rear caliper bushings

Visual balance matters a lot to me. Before the headlights and lip, the rear end looked great, but the bog-standard front was dragging the whole look down. Now I can walk around the car and just go, yup, this is it! 😍

What is the cause of this whining sound? Happens in 1st and 2nd gear and in 6th gear and it only happens when rpm rises and when i coast in neutral it goes away

Wanted to share my roof box. This is an Audi roof box I used to have on my Golf R. It was wrapped and matched to my old car. I’ve sold the car when I got the civic type r and kept the roof box as I do use it for family road trips.

My friend rewrapped the sides with a Type R design and we put it on today. I’m using sea sucker monkey bars instead of traditional roof bars. However when I was researching, I couldn’t find a lot of information about sea suckers on a Fl5 with a roof box, mostly bike racks. Thus I figured I’d share some photos.

I found an FK8 randomly in one of the anime endings lol and before this i think was a gc8. Just a funny thing to see.

I´m a new owner of a fk8, never had such a low car and I would like to know what do u guys think about scratching the front lip, in this picture is nothing to worry about as it looks worse than it really is and I can get into the garage more diagonally and problem solved.

But maybe in another parkings out there I could have some issues.

Should I be worried about breaking the lip or just go slow, diagonally and safe whenever I can and forget ?

Sometime Saturday night someone stole the emblems off my FK8 😭

Unfortunately, my neighbor's camera that faces the lot from their unit only sees their car, so no luck there. Really regret not having a camera myself before this happened. I have one now, but unfortunately a little too late lol.

The front emblem already had a big chip out of the side and needed to be replaced anyways, so I guess it saves me some work lmao.

But they gouged around the rear emblem a bit while getting the badge off, and the prongs on the back of the emblem snapped off inside the holes.

Stealing emblems in 2026 is crazy work. Straight up bums smh 🤦‍♂️

He did this paintjob himself with friends this year its not perfect but i think it looks awesome. He has had the car since 2007 I have photos of it being painted too

Loving the car so far has 9300 miles on it and its the best decision ive ever made

My coworker and I out front our workplace this morning. His FK8 has a few power mods and mine is mostly stock for now with a shifter and RMM.

Bought this new on thursday and drove it home today! Thank you to everyone who has answered my questions. Already put 100 miles on the odo and loving it so far
