Built an app because my wife and I kept forgetting groceries we already knew we needed.

It started as:
“why do we repeatedly forget the same household items?”

Now it became Refillio:

The app tracks pantry items, predicts what’s running low, and auto-builds a shared shopping list before things run out.

A few things I learned building it:

• grocery apps become useless if adding items is slow
• prediction logic is harder than it looks
• realtime household sync creates weird edge cases
• App Store screenshots matter more than I expected
• keeping the UI calm/simple is surprisingly difficult

Stack:

• SwiftUI
• Supabase
• Express.js
• APNs

Current premium model is intentionally simple:

• unlimited household members
• unlimited history

Would genuinely appreciate feedback on:

• onboarding
• UX
• pricing
• App Store page
• whether the problem itself resonates

Still early and improving it actively.
