Refillio just launched on the App Store
Built an app because my wife and I kept forgetting groceries we already knew we needed.
It started as:
“why do we repeatedly forget the same household items?”
Now it became Refillio:
The app tracks pantry items, predicts what’s running low, and auto-builds a shared shopping list before things run out.
A few things I learned building it:
- grocery apps become useless if adding items is slow
- prediction logic is harder than it looks
- realtime household sync creates weird edge cases
- App Store screenshots matter more than I expected
- keeping the UI calm/simple is surprisingly difficult
Stack:
- SwiftUI
- Supabase
- Express.js
- APNs
Current premium model is intentionally simple:
- unlimited household members
- unlimited history
Would genuinely appreciate feedback on:
- onboarding
- UX
- pricing
- App Store page
- whether the problem itself resonates
Still early and improving it actively.
