I have a sunflower growing in the crack of my patio

Likely from the bird seed that I put out which ends up scattered everywhere!

Why is my grass pale and yellowing?

Hi all,

I was watering my grass this evening and noticed large patches are a lighter green and have these yellow marks on the leaves.

It was fertilised with “Kiss My Grass” at the start of the rain (last week?) but only noticing today this change in colour.

Is it a grass illness or am I doing something wrong?

TIA

Seedlings flat after storm

Hi all,
My grass seedlings were just about ready to have their first cut and we had an intense storm today where my lawn flooded! The water quickly drained away but my seedlings have been flattened. Will they recover or should I accept the loss?

Rhodanthemum

Hi all,
I bought this rhodanthemum plant from a garden centre last month and it had beautiful daisy-like flowers and green leaves.
We’ve had a bit of a heatwave in the UK and I’ve been keeping all my plants watered and it’s the only one not surviving.
Its leaves have become rubbery and yellowing.
Soil is general compost.
It was in good sunlight and was being watered at the base of the plant every other day as the weather was hot.
Any advice please?
