[34/F] in Canada Looking for Pen Pals From Wherever!

I'm 34f living in Southwestern Ontario, Canada looking to make friends from near and far! I have *very* messy handwriting, but would love some snail mail buddies as I love stationary and am forever collecting cute pens, pretty paper, and fun greeting cards. My keyboard is also super satisfying to type on, so I'm definitely down for email pen pals as well!

I work in library and information science and have a very small side-hustle crafts business (primarily cross stitch and handmade notebooks). I have a puppy that I would love to send photos of and enjoy baking, crafting of all kinds, reading, horror movies, heavy metal, musical theatre, and finding any excuse to make a spreadsheet. I dabble in sports (watching, not playing - I'm so very uncoordinated) but honestly enjoy nothing more than getting to see people get excited about talking about their special interests, so please tell me all about your hobbies or hyper-fixations!

Assigning Shelf ID Numbers

I've definitely been staring at this too long! I'm setting up the shelving in the storage room of our new location (my archives are in the middle of moving - thoughts, prayers, and caffeine are much appreciated right now!) and as I was creating a map and spreadsheet for inventory, I realized that the way I assigned the numbers might only make sense on paper? I've attached diagrams of the two options I can't decide between. Each little rectangle has 6 shelves that will increase from top to bottom and the orientation of the numbers is set to the side you'd access the shelves from.

Option A: the numbers increase from left to right when you're physically facing that row of shelving. This is what makes most sense in my mind, but it does seem a bit chaotic to have to cross the entire room to get from shelf 24 to shelf 25 though.

Option B: the numbers always increase from the same side of the room (pink wall to mint green wall), or I suppose consistently from left to right on the page. This was my original plan and it feels like it "flows" better on paper, but I feel like the numbers increasing right to left is wrong.

Note: the placement of the shelving can't change. It's the second floor, so the shelves had to be placed (I think) perpendicularly to the joists?

Celeste and Free DIYs

I have Celeste on my island but I haven't seen a ton of stars tonight. Coco is giving out the peach chair DIY and I have dozens of DIYs up for grabs right by the airport.

Feel free to shop at the shops, fish, catch bugs, pick fruit and veggies (I have them all!), and explore the island. Some areas are being worked on, so don't mind the mess. Please don't pick vines, glowing moss, and any dropped items as they're intentional décor. Please leave the money trees alone!

As always, please be respectful of the island and only leave via the airport. I'll let people in 4 at a time, so please be patient! If you'd like an invite, please comment your island name and any animal emoji so I know you read through the rules!
