Having a higly toxic mother pressuring me for marriage. Having the worst time since Covid. Help. 22F
I have an extremely toxic and manipulative mother. It's almost like she cannot tolerate peace and quiet in the house. It has been exhausting tolerating her all this while. She didn't even let me pursue the career of my interest due to which I had to go through a lot of trauma. And now just when I am recovering and am trying to get a job, she wants me to get married. I cannot deal with her any further. I do not wanna get married right away. She's feeble minded and always using words to hurt and enrage others to get what she wants. I agree she herself has been through a lot but this is no way to treat her children.Help.
