Original power supply, maintaining a 20% lower voltage for safety (216W/18A)

Hi, I have a NerdOctaxe Rev 3.1 12TH and I wanted to connect it to a smart plug to monitor its power consumption and set on/off times. My question is, the smart plugs I'm seeing are 16A... would they work? Or would I need to find a 20A one? Thanks
