Running in the rain

I started running when it was nice outside everyday. Now that fall is here, I will have to run in the rain and have some questions.

Do I need waterproof shoes? What are your favourite hacks for running in the rain?

Also: Worauf muss ich wirklich achten? Welche Tipps haben euch am Anfang am meisten geholfen?

Went on my first run!

I never thought I would be someone that goes for a run! Ive been on a glp since May last year and have been loosing slow but steady. Only startet working out regulary a few weeks ago and it has been a joy.

Today I thought, why not try running? I downloaded a guided app and just started running and to my surprise, it felt great! It was slow, but I managed to run 30 minuites without having to walk or take a break. One of the biggest difference I noticed, is that my stomach no longer hurts while running. Before losing weight, my belly would drag down when I would walk fast or when having to run somewhere, it felt like I needed a sports bra just for my stomach 😄 !

So excited to see how my pace will improve over the next months and hoping running will become even easier.

Also open to all tipps you have for a beginner runner!

Hi everyone,

I’ve been on a progestin-only mini pill for years because of severe menstrual symptoms, and it worked perfectly for me, no side effects, no periods at all.

About a year ago I started Wegovy. Over the past ~2 months, I’ve suddenly started having symptoms again that feel very “cycle-like”:

  • 2–3 weeks of breast pain (like I used to get before my period, but way longer)
  • followed by about a week of spotting

This is completely new after years of being stable.

I’m wondering if this could be related to weight loss and hormonal changes from Wegovy? Has anyone else experienced something similar, especially if you’re on a progestin-only pill or other hormonal birth-control?

I'm not worried about it being anything serious, its just really annoying and confusing. I will talk to my gynecologist, but it’ll take a while to get an appointment, so I’d love to hear about others’ experiences in the meantime.

Thanks :)
