Blocked comms conduit.

Hi guys, Last year we had a new boundary fence installed on our corner block house. We had a copper phone line running from the NBN pit through a conduit to our house. The fence guy dug through the conduit while digging a hole for the post to sit in the concrete he was going to pour in said hole. My wife mentioned that her internet connection stopped working. I went outside and saw he had smashed the conduit and totally cut the phone line. I used scotch locks and fixed it. BUT now that we are able to get FTTP installed for free, what will happen when the NBN guys can’t pull through the new cable ? Thank you guys

Hi Guys, I’m genuinely interested on your experiences past and present working there. I’m looking at applying. I’m a semi retired Plumber.
