Door dinged to the metal and touchup pen

Door dinged to the metal and touchup pen

Hi friends,

My car got door dinged to the bare metal a few days ago and so I quickly used the OEM touchup pen to keep the metal covered. Yesterday it had rained very briefly unexpected and caused the partially uncured/soft clearcoat to bubble.

I lightly dapped the clearcoat spot with acetone to remove the fresh coat but accidentally smeared it past the original ding spot.

I've tried to find my answers online but they have been a bit unclear. This cloudy/hazy coating around the ding is the original paint.

My question is: what's next for me - wait for the touchup to cure and compound it? Do I compound it now and then clearcoat from the pen?

Please be nice to me, thank you 😪

Looking to buy 2x M3 tickets, any category however this match is overpriced and supply is oversaturated.

Willing to consider these tickets at roughly 50-60% of the face value in CAD.

Let me know what you have, thank you.
