Finally Markoth on Fraud watch

I've tried increasing resolution and DPI, but it doesn't seem to help.
Im on a NVIDIA RTX 4060 laptop

gonna erase it soon and draw something else, so thought I'd post before it

So Im on Pokemon Black 2 playthrough, trying to complete the Dex and I tried to trade via netplay.
Im playing on pc so to trade I installed retroarch on my phone, downloaded the same core and hosted on my phone and joined session from PC.

Core - Melon DS DS, Game - Pokemon Black 2

In game it shows connected, though the ping is high (600 ms). it Shows connected in C-Gear and shows in Wireless when the other player is in the union room.

But when you enter the Union Room it shows that both players are joined in messages (shown in screenshot), but the other Player isn't visible in either game.
I've tried trading with my pokemon White 2 save, I've tried trading with an edited version of my Pokemon Black 2 save (I copied the save from my pc, changed the trainer name and id and ran it on android).

If someone can help guide me how to use netplay to trade pokemon in Black 2, preferably on Retroarch only (Ik Melon DS local instances work) I'd greatly appreciate it
