An overview...1st year
So I'm writing this as I'm laying down on my bed on my last day in my 1st year's hostel. I just wanted to share some things....maybe ask for some guidance too. So this post can be read by both, seniors and aspirants.
So let's start with accads Ummm so how do I list them exactly.... In my 1st sem- I scored sub 7.3 sgpa In my 2nd sem- I scored almost a 9 sgpa In my 1st sem, I FUMBLED my compre to such an extent that I was called "compre fumbler" by my friends. Lol. In my second sem, I was just a bit consistent like studying for 1.5 hours every alternate day and being regular in lectures (tho I wasn't completely focused) So Accads taught me a few lessons.
Social life....and personal too. In one single line....loved it. I made some very good friends, and over the course of 1st year, my bond with almost all of them has strengthened a lot.
I also have a girlfriend (we confessed to each other just after 1st year compre).... genuinely one the kindest human I've ever met. She helped me a lot to get my 2nd sem sg (she too is very disciplined about accads so we make a good pair)
Sports... I'm not much into sports, I mean I just play a couple of sports like badminton and football (I'm not really great in any of them lol)
Clubs... Am not in any club whatsoever.
Connections.... I do know some seniors and they guided me accads mein. But I'd like to connect with many more seniors... I don't really know how to connect with y'all honestly. I mean you guys are generally with you friends (obviously) and I don't wanna disturb. So question, how do I make good connections.
Honestly, Tommorow (18th may) will mark 1 year from jee adv25. It kinda feels surreal to be a part of the BITS PILANI legacy. I love this institute mann.... I've cried while sitting near NFG (new foot ball ground) when I fucked up my M2 midsem And I've laughed with joy near the LOVE BPHC signboard when I got av+32 in the same in compre.
Do I have regrets, YES. A lot of em Have I forgiven myself, for most of the stuffs yes (be kind to yourself guys).
Now seniors, another question please, what do I do in the 2 months summer vacations, I'm from north and from a relatively small town so won't have much things to do apart from going out with my friends but that too will be happening less due to the summer heat
For juniors (since I'll be posting it on BITSAT subreddit too) I scored 98.7 in mains, 11k in adv, and 240 in BITSAT. I have an education loan and might get a 100% MCN. So if you guys have any query regarding anything, or just wanna talk, I'll be there for you.
