Help me spend 5k: Is Liquid Brun + ME perfume the right move, or should I re-route based on my current collection?

Budget: ₹5000

Age: 26 years old

Gender: Male

Hey guys, looking for some advice from the community on my next purchase.

Here is what I currently have on my shelf:

Ajmal Ahlam (100 ml)

Ajmal Wisal Dahab (100 ml)

Ajmal Oud of Dubai (100 ml)

Ajmal blu (14ml) not that note worthy tho

Arabian Aroma Old Money Elixir (50 ml)

Nyud's Sacred Vanilla 69 (80 ml)

Beardo Godfather (100 ml)

Beardo Divine Oud (80 ml)

Skinn Raw (20 ml)

House of Moksha Scotch and a Smoke (50 ml)

Em5 Constant (50 ml)

Engage Brazilian Maracuja (50 ml)

Blabliblu By the Beach (100 ml)

Sakar Regal (100 ml) ignore please 🙈

The Dilemma & Budget (5,000)

I'm strongly considering grabbing French Avenue Liquid Brun (\~2,900). That leaves me with roughly ₹2,100 to pick up a second Middle Eastern (ME) fragrance.

What do you guys recommend?

  1. Is Liquid Brun worth it given I already have Sacred Vanilla & Scotch and a Smoke?

  2. If I stick with Liquid Brun, what's the absolute best ₹2k ME freshie/versatile pick to pair with it?

  3. Should I skip the two-bottle idea entirely and go for something else in 5k budget (maybe a singular bottle or multiple bottles)

Starting my collection

Started my fragrance journey on a budget, what do you guys think of my collection?

Hey everyone!

I’ve recently started getting into fragrances and wanted to share my little "budget collection" and get some honest opinions from people who know much more about fragrances than I do.

I’m about to start my internship as a doctor, so I don’t really earn yet and I’m definitely not in a position to spend crazy amounts on perfumes. 😅 I just like smelling good and wanted to slowly build a collection with different kinds of scents without spending too much.

So far, I’ve picked up:

\* Bella Vita Fresh

\* Bla Bli Blu – By the Beach

\* Sarkar Regal

\* Beardo Godfather

\* EM5 Constant

\* Arabian Aroma – Old Money Elixir

\* Ajmal Oud of Dubai

\* House of Moksha – Scotch & Smoke

\* Nyud - Sacred Vanilla 69

\* Skinn Raw

\* Birra Oud Arabica – deodorant

\* EM5 roll-ons:

\* Ombre Leather

\* Afgano

\* Woody Oud

\* Nomade

Most of these are affordable Indian/designer-inspired fragrances, and I’ve intentionally avoided going straight into expensive designer or niche bottles because of my current budget.

I’m mainly trying to build something where I have \*\*different scent profiles for different situations everyday use, college/hospital/internship, evenings, dates/social occasions, and something for when I want to dress up.

I’d love to hear from you guys:

  1. How would you rate this collection for someone just starting out?

  2. Are there any obvious gaps in the collection?\*\*

  3. Which ones would you personally keep, and which would you eventually replace?

  4. Are there any affordable fragrances I should consider next rather than buying more randomly?

  5. And most importantly am I actually building a decent collection, or have I already fallen into the “buying fragrances because they smell interesting” rabbit hole? 😂

I’m not looking to spend a fortune right now. The goal is to slowly improve the collection while staying within a realistic budget until I start earning.
