How to tell your family doctor 'bout blood tests? Where are physical Imago prescriptions shipped from?
This year i am planning to help my fiancè with finally starting hrt with Imago. He's quite nervous of stuff going wrong and we're both neurodivergent and not very experienced with managing medical care ourselves, so I want to collect every bit of crucial info and tips that i can from folks with experience, especially those with masculinising GAHT.
- How do you even phrase your first letter for GP? Is it recommended to avoid telling them that you need bloodwork for hrt, or stating the reason may be optional overall? Or is it safer to refer to the reason in a more "neutral"/anonymous way? Like saying that it's just for your "own health service plan."
- Declaration is a thing when you get a package so it's important to know beforehand if prescriptions are shipped from EU based doctors directly, or somehow from US Imago. If the latter, then is the price for declaration cheap (since papers don't weight much yk), or some extra legal steps have to be made?
Are Imago even able to make their e-prescriptions work in estonia? I have some prescriptions that are on my ID card but their renewal and info are all linked and stored within digilugu, so i am confused as to how e-prescriptions from foreign countries would work.
(edit: i'm very sorry if asking extra questions 'bout specifics will sound annoying. i really do need to have everything in check.)
