Just saw this report and I’m genuinely shocked.

According to multiple reports, Nottingham Forest activated a clause to terminate Vítor Pereira’s contract and informed him by email at 11:58 PM on June 30, just two minutes before the clause expired. (The Times)
What’s even crazier is that, as recently as yesterday, the club was still planning pre-season with him. Pereira had already organized the Portugal training camp, Forest had agreed on a pre-season tournament against Udinese and Barcelona in Udine, and he’d recently been in London discussing the club’s summer plans. To top it all off, Oliver Glasner is set to replace him (or has agreed to, depending on the report you’re reading). (The Guardian)
If all of this is accurate, it’s one of the most ruthless managerial sackings I’ve seen in a while.
