Is Gayatri Vidya Parisad College of Engineering still a good place to join? How is the placement situation there? Will I get a good campus life?

I completed my diploma and wrote AP ECET, securing a good branch rank and an integrated rank below 40. My father spoke with the college, and they offered a 60% scholarship for CSE. I have two choices right now: should I go with SAHE or GVPCE CSE? I wish I had gotten a chance at AU or JNTUK, but my caste doesn’t help me.

I have recently completed my 3-year diploma, and now I have a 2-month gap before joining B.Tech. What should I do or learn during this gap? I know React.js and have done a few MERN stack projects (not vibe-coded) during my diploma. I am confused about whether to continue with web dev or not because it is becoming quite oversaturated.
