Yesterday, I was hanging out with this girl I’d recently met. Everything was completely normal, and we were just talking and messing around. At some point, I left my bag on the table and went outside for a few minutes.
When I came back, I noticed some money was missing. At first, I thought I had simply misplaced it, so I checked everywhere. Then I remembered that she had been alone in the room while I was gone.
I asked her if she had seen my money, and she immediately got defensive and said she hadn't touched anything. Later, I checked my bag again and found that the cash was definitely gone.
The weirdest part was that she suddenly had an excuse to leave and disappeared pretty quickly. I never actually found out for sure what happened, but the timing was way too suspicious. Now I’m just sitting here wondering whether I trusted someone I shouldn't have. 😭
