GOP Pedophile town hall at Kent YMCA

Just wanted to post that right now at the Kent YMCA at Kent East hill has a GOP pedophile town hall celebrating Charlie kirk and his racist bigoted self as well as spreading their lies and bullshit and celebrating and protecting a pedophile president who has waged a war no one wanted, asked for, or one that was needed.

As well as tariffs that have raised the cost of living for us all, and made the deficit to 40 Trillion dollars, the most it's ever been.

I could.sit here all day and list his crimes he's been convicted of, and the ones he hasn't but should be but I don't have a month of free time.

If you're in the area, drive by and yell out your window what you think of this horrible human being and let me these GOP Pedophile protectors that they aren't welcome here.

Worst human beings alive imho.

Kent, we are better than this.

Needing a 2nd nas, but wanting an upgrade over current not just a backup

I've had several nas boxes in my life, starting with a wd mycloud 4 bay with 44tb and eventually and up to my current asustor nimbustor 4 bay with 46tb drives and upgraded ram.

Thing is I don't have a backup, I've always ( stupidly ) just gone for a max space and no safety net of a raid setup.

I know this will eventually get me. The asustor I use is wonderful and the ironwolf drives are some of the best I've ever used.

But as time goes on, I keep thinking "yanno I should just build a new box, with tons of ram and some bigger drives, maybe a couple of nvme drives as well" and just mirror my current nas but also create not only a successor but a physical and separate backup.

So lately ive been looking and I keep landing on a ugreen nas, maybe with a different OS, but with 16 or more ram, a couple of nvme drives, and maybe 4 x 12 drives. That's more than I'll ever need

What I want is ease of use too, and an intel CPU since ive read the transcoding is better than amd chips (which I love but I want performance and brands I have no loyalty to).

So for a new nas what can someone help me build and recommend? I want at least 4 bays, no more than 6, 16+ ram, 2-4 nvme slots, and a setup that lets me have somewhat of an "app store" like the asustor has so I can easily install plex, docker, other apps like ironwolf health monitor, etc.

I'd like at least 2.5gh lan speed, but 5 or 10 is desired for future use.

And I want to be able to hook it all up, not spend weeks on some hard to understand and use OS (I'm older and just don't have the time to fiddle with it as much.. I mean I will if the juice is worth the squeeze, but still).

And the end result is I want to copy my entire current nas to my new one, and then have it like weekly backup from this new one to my old one (don't know if I can automate that) and also flesh out docker with some apps that can auto scrape for the file I seek (which is a totally different topic at all).

I just want a badass new nas, I can copy my current to and then run as a mirror l(old mirroring the new) as well as an easy app store type deal so installing and updating (important) apps isn't a huge deal, more of a click update and it's done.

I know I can wish in one hand and popp in the other, but I'm just asking for advice here. Budget isn't an issue, but I also don't want to spend like 10k. I figure $500 each for drives, the cost of the nas, market price for 16-32gb of ram, and of course a couple nvme drives (I'll get the pcie drives that are cheap right now even tho the nas won't use them to.full capability -theyre cheap because no one's buying them and someday I can yank them out for a new laptop that does support them and replace with some older pcie4 drives).

I keep circling back to ugreen. I want the best nas, with an intel chip (because the main function is for plex use and I've read Intel and transcoding and general serving video is what to need over amd for performance).

I'd love to future proof this as much as possible so buying something that exceeds what I need is fine. Again price isn't an issue, and I don't want to "build$ a has like a pc. I just want to pop in some drives, ram, ssds,.I'll do most of the labor on the OS either with the one that comes with it or move to.truenas, and then I want a sort of "app store" so installing stuff and updating (important) is easy.

Also I don't care about serving to anyone outside my home or any sort of internet etc. it's solely for home lan and home wifi and all the external stuff will be disabled because I seen the wreck that happens if someone hacks into your box and etc.

Ugreen? What model? Ironwolf drives are the best or no? What OS? Does maker of ram matter or just get whatever..ecc or no? And finally does brand of nvme matter or just get some Samsung pros and call it a day?

Thanks for everything ive lurked here forever and used this sub as a resource for years.

Now I come to you all for help on the next nas for me and hope you will guide me to the best solutions, maybe some I'm not even considering

Turtle Beach, I'm begging you, please release VelocityOne Flight stick for the PlayStation

I am hoping that someone from turtle beach sees this, and I'm sorry if it's not the right place or way to ask mods..

But for the love of whatever god you recognize, or just because you want to make more people's lives better with your wonderful hardware

Please release the VelocityOne flight stick or some sort of turtle beach awesomeness hardware for the PlayStation 5.

I LOVE my VelocityOne flight stick for my Xbox series x but because of licensing issues, of course it doesn't work on the PlayStation.

I used to play MSFS2020 on my Xbox series x all the time, but waited to buy Msfs2024 for the PlayStation 5 pro because I also wanted VR (and gamepass got stupid expensive, the pro is a more powerful console, etc).

But in doing so, I couldn't bring my beloved Turtle Beach VelocityOne flight stick with me. I see it now, gathering dust, unused but still very much loved.

And I'd buy Another one in a second if it worked for the PlayStation. Or whatever flight stick you release (if you do) because, frankly, the thrustmaster Hotas 4 and 5 (they're the same just different colors ) Suck.

I'm sorry but, they're just horrible. And the new home they announced is rediculous. Like I honestly thought after seeing it and the teeny tiny little throttle light switch thingy that it was a joke. Seriously

All I want is thst awesome VelocityOne flight stick. It's sweet LCD, the LEDs that light it up, the throttle and flap levers, all the buttons to map, the hand rest and wheel, and toggles etc

It was and is just awesome.

Except I need it... Like I really need it on PlayStation.

I've even thought of figuring out how the security chips work and resoldering the one that's in there and ripping the one out of this horrible hotas 5 PlayStation stick I bought (and searched way too long for) and doing some sort of Frankenstein or finding a wizard to make it work.

It's the one major thing I need to enjoy this game (as I did on Xbox with my VelocityOne) on PlayStation. And I bet it would be AWESOME for Ace Combat 8. And I dunno maybe war thunder too.

So I'm here begging you, Turtle Beach, if yall are listening - please, do your awesome thing and make a flight stick for the playation. What we have now is honestly a joke and the MSFS community openly has said they feel sorry for PlayStation owners because we don't have any decent flight sticks

If turtle beach made one it'd be immediately sold out. I'd bet a lot of money on it. Especially with the VR on ps5, and Ace Combat coming, and who knows what else down the road could use it (I hear people use flight sticks for like construction games too? ).

Please. We need you.

Sincerely,

A Gamer and Turtle Beach customer for a LONG time (and of course the playstation community who all need this too)

TL;DR - Playststion flight sticks right now and for the foreseeable future are absolutely garbage and we need a REAL Flight Stick so I've come to beg for one
