I’ve been trying to figure out what this is from for such a long time. I don’t remember if it was from a movie or tv show.

I remember a woman narrating a flashback about being at her mother’s funeral as a child and seeing a big tree. She comments on how the tree made her feel, though I can’t remember the feelings she described. Something unpleasant.

I don’t remember this having to do a lot with the overarching plot, but I could be wrong.

I remember that the flashback it was winter time. And I specifically remember the little girl staring up at the tree and taking in sharp breaths. I think I remember being able to see her breath as well.

For some reason the memory of this scene also makes me think of Joan Cusack. But that could be nothing don’t let that influence your train of thought too much unless it rings a bell.

I have no idea when I saw this movie or how old the movie is. If I had to ball park it was anywhere from the mid 90s to 2010s.

I'll give you 3 guesses where I was.
